The company IBR Engineering Office for Rationalisation is a company based in Dresden.
IBR is active in both the paper and packaging industries.
Our experience of more than 40 years in the paper and packaging industries enables us to advise our clients competently in increasing their efficiency in partial areas of manufacturing machinery.
A considerable part of our work is devoted to new and further developments and the sale of high-performance nozzles for cleaning and conditioning of sieves and felt, for the cutting of fibre fleece in initially moist and dry states (edge trimming, tail cutting) and humidification of rolls. Moreover, we develop and supply special nozzles.
The IBR product portfolio for the paper and packaging industries includes low-pressure and high-pressure cleaning nozzles, water jet edge trim nozzles, tail cutter nozzles, cutting nozzles, spray and humidification nozzles, pipe-cleaning nozzles, glue nozzles and special nozzles.
Nozzles are available made of materials, such as brass, steel, plastics and a combination thereof and of special materials, such as Hastelloy, carbon-plastics, etc.
High-performance nozzles are equipped with inserts / ring jewels of ceramics, carbide, ruby, sapphire and diamond.

We are committed to sustainability.

  • The IBR Engineering Office for Rationalisation feels committed to sustainability, which is the basis for the development and manufacture of our nozzles for the paper industry.
  • Therefore, in as early as 2003, when the INT nozzle was developed, we introduced the replaceability of the ring jewel. If the nozzle brick shows any damage, but the nozzle body is still intact, only the nozzle brick needs to be replaced.
  • This allows saving materialised labour and precious resources, and the nozzle can be reused.
  • We, therefore, accept the cleaning and checking of nozzles of any make.
